Northgate vs Poynton Connect

Following the performance of the season so far last week against City Church, Northgate will be hoping to prove that they can be serious contenders in the SMCCFL and back it up with another win against a team say just above them in the table.

Poynton have enjoyed a strong start to the season, winning four of their six league games played and so they sit one place and one point above Northgate, but with one game in hand also. They travel to the Tangerine Fortress in the hope of doing what nobody has done yet this season: stopping a home Northgate league win.

Clark has a very similar squad to last week to help keep the momentum up. Davenport returns and will don the gloves allowing Sharrock a run outfield. Heathcote and Roberts are the only absentees as Ben Jones and Matt Ward come back into the fold.
